• whimsical art, painted and drawn by hand

Amy creates each design herself in watercolor, gouache, or pen and ink, on paper, from observation or from her imagination (she's a bit of a doodler!).

her inspiration comes from her vegetable garden, and flower gardens, where she grows daffodils, peonies, hollyhocks, and tons of dahlias. it also comes from life at her tiny farmhouse in southeastern Massachusetts, coastal New England, travel, especially to Italy, and from her Black Lab-Pointer rescue puppy, Dolce.

  • top quality + ethically made

these are not your typical tea towels. Our 100% organic cotton fabric is heavier weight than twill, softens with washing, and has traditionally been used for chefs' uniforms. Each detail is overseen by Amy, down to the twill tape for the hanging loop and the care label.

Each of our tea towels is printed using digital pigment inks on 100% organic cotton and adheres to REACH and okeo-tex regulations. Naturally, our production partners pay a living wage.

  • so many uses!

tea towels were originally used to line trays for tea service, but they aren't limited to that. Use them for drying fruits, vegetables, or dishes, as a hand towel in the bathroom, as decor hanging over your oven handle or in a frame, as gift wrap (perfect for a bottle of wine, olive oil, or a cookbook), to cover sourdough on the rise, to line a breadbasket, to line a bar cart, as a napkin - you get the idea!
