candle safety

  • never leave a burning candle unattended
  • keep the wax area free of wick trimmings, matches, or other debris
  • keep candles well out of reach of children or pets
  • keep away from flammable items
  • trim wooden wicks to 1/8 to 3/16-inches long
  • trim cotton wicks to 1/4-inch long
  • don't burn your candle more than 4 hours at a time or once only 1/4 of the wax remains
